This year I've met my fare share of successful individuals and it seems like the ambitious all have one thing in common, Books. From Finance to Love and self-care, here are a few good seasonal reads to help you on your Journey. Feed your mind along the way.
I believe that anyone can learn anything and with an open mind you may find yourself embarking on a journey of self discovery. If you ever want to step outside of your comfort zone I’d say go for something on the list outside of your norm.
1. Love
If you don’t know who she is get to know her. Bell Hooks is phenomenal. Her outlook on life and love are raw in a way that will force to for look in the mirror and face even the ugliest of truths, all while using her words to inform you of ways to truly be the amazing human you are destined to be.
2. Real Estate Investments
The Real Estate Game is a book that gives you insight on the many way the Real Estate game is played. Whether you're a rookie or a veteran this book has a jewel for any and everyone interested in the big leagues of Real Estate.
3. Self care
This book is for anyone who's ever felt down about taking the high road, or questioned themselves because they've been mistreated. This is a book that encourages you as you deal with naysayers all the while encouraging you not to become them.
4. Personal Growth
Who doesn’t want to give themselves an extra edge in business. Being able to walk the walk and talk the talk goes a long way when leaving a lasting impression. ‘Without Saying A Word” gives you the tools you need to fine tune yourself through body language, so you are clearly saying the right thing.
5. Poetry
This one's for those late nights with hot cocoa or wine if you drink. For those times when you want to connect to something deeper without having to explain why. This book of poems speaks loud and clear, it’s like being understood without saying a word.
